These are shots from our upper windows onto the back field. The horses have had a great week on the hill. My mum has decided that this mare in the coat is nearly ready to foal. I'll take her word for it as I haven't a clue about these sort of events. She took these pictures. I'm trying to get her used to digital cameras but she's not too impressed. These are beautiful. I was reluctant to make the switch to digital cameras as well. But I wouldn't go back to film now for the world.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your mum about how difficult it can be to see anything in the screen with a digital camera.
ReplyDeleteShe managed beautifully with these photos.
Gorgeous horses.
ReplyDeleteHope you can drop by to see my Camera Critters, have a happy weekend.
What a great view from your window.
ReplyDeleteI just love all these photos, Michael, but most especially the first. That's a beautiful coat on that mare and the shot is beautifully composed. Your mother is a very good photographer! And you are fortunate to have such gorgeous views from your windows!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun you'll have once the mare foals, watching the little one romp in the pasture.
ReplyDeleteMichael: It is so fun to see animals of any kind near the house, cool horses.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous horses and your photos capture them so well.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful horses that you capture so well!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Your mum took some great pictures, and I hope she is right and the mother horse fouls soon. Would love to see photos of the little one. What a great view you have out back, so lucky!
