Excellent shots Michael. I do think the reflected trees "come to life" more than the "reality."
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and commenting. I like the dark reflections too. I need to bring a small ground cloth so I can sit or kneel without getting soaked.
Wonderful shot of the trees and reflections! It is good that the drought is over?
ReplyDeleteGood reflections. Hope you are wrong about the summer! It will be hard to get reflections with no rain!
ReplyDeleteThe reflections look almost more real than the originals.
ReplyDeleteThe first shot of the tree is just beautiful! Its reflection looks like a bent tree trunk.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds exactly like what has happened here in the Philippines. Two huge typhoons and awful flooding late last year, and now we have a drought and our farmers are suffering.
ReplyDeleteSigh. Sorry for the sad vibes, but your commentary is just spot on. Lovely reflections in your photos though.
I agree, I had to study the reflected tree cause it does look like the real thing. I like the angle created by the tree and its reflection in the first shot.
ReplyDeleteI like the way the tree meets it's reflection at an agle. That's a very nice shot.
ReplyDeleteLove the perspective of this shot, the tree is meeting itself in the water. We had three years of drought that ended in floods too. We even had snow for goodness sake! Mother Nature can be very contrary at time. Kathy
ReplyDeletegood reflection shots, i hope we don't have a drought...
ReplyDeletevivement l ete qu il y est moins de flaque ;O)
ReplyDeleteGreat reflections, the angle of the big tree really makes the shot. Beautiful capture.
ReplyDeleteWonderful reflection shot! We've had a very hard winter too, the country was completely soaked, but it seems spring has finally arrived now and the sun has been shining for the last five days! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat shot!
