Hungry Redshank

Another Redshank from Southport just to show that this wader does do more than meditate on one leg. This one is feeling a bit peckish (oops).

    The birds legs add lots of vivid colour to the photo. It looks pretty busy, which remind me, I think I'm getting hungry so I'd better get busy, too.

    One of my favourite waders; I love how on a dark day the orange/red legs really stand out and light up in the mud.
